If you are working in a research lab in the Department of Chemistry... Congrats! You're already a member of ChemClub!
Our priority is serving chemistry graduate students at all three University of Toronto campuses, but the perks of membership extend to undergraduate students, exchange students, and post-doctoral fellows working in chemistry research labs.*
Perks include:
- Invitations to attend our events, including biweekly donuts (free food!), networking, and semi-formals
- Discounted members rate for ticketed events
- Opportunities to meet people outside of your research group
There is no membership fee for joining ChemClub.
Are you interested in getting more involved with ChemClub?
- Attend our Annual General Meeting (late April or early May).
- Consider running for an executive position! Elections for most positions are held at the end of every academic year (in late April or early May), and a by-election is held for executive-at-large and satellite representative positions in the fall (October). For more information about executive positions and our election process, click here.
- Volunteer to help out with the ChemClub store. Keep an eye out for sign-up e-mails at the beginning of each academic term. This short-term commitment comes with free food as a thank-you to our volunteers!
(*) If you are an undergraduate student, exchange student, or post-doctoral fellow, please contact us to be added to our mailing list. Graduate students are automatically added to our mailing list upon enrollment.
